Sod delivery takes place in a few steps. If you are interested in learning more we invite you to continue reading. Follow these simple steps to start enjoying fresh sod in your yard today!
1) Decide who is doing your final grade – If that is not discussed in the bidding process expect to be responsible for final grade. So installers do just that. Install and harvest sod!
2) Decide any additional work you may want done – Most sod companies have ‘friends’ that compliment sod installation services like tree removal, stump removal, topsoil delivery and installation, mulch delivery and installation, leaf removal, and other clean up services for your yard.
3) Establish your goal – Do you plan on selling, are you looking to eventually build a retaining wall, are you looking to eventually build an outdoor kitchen? It helps to begin with the end in mind so we can help you enjoy your outdoor space sooner than later
4) Measure the area(s) you are looking to sod – Measure the areas you are looking to sod in square feet measure length times width to get square feet.
5) Decide the kind of sod you need to purchase – Order sod types based on the amount of sunlight the areas you are looking to sod receive. If you are not sure ask!
6) Order your sod – Rain is the only thing that will prevent sod from being cut or installed. Most customers enjoy a 48 hour turnaround time.
7) Install your sod – Roll your sod out and enjoy! Water as needed. Must install delivered sod in 48 hours of delivery or as directed by professional.
