1) Over-seed your fescue – This will save you so much heart ache in the long run. If you currently have an established fescue yard and you are moving into the fall season you must over-seed to maintain volume and fullness of grass EVERY YEAR. Current fescue seed pricing available by calling
2) Rake up your leaves – Leaves block sunlight and is an automatic deal breaker when looking to build turf
3) Sod Bare Spots – Sod all bare spots in your lawn. If you are sodding under a tree, ask your sod professional if they can or if you should have them put down fescue seed before sod is laid. This will allow seed to stay in place and germinate.
